My annual week off before Paso has commenced. Had a productive weekend on the homefront now time to trip and hit some sweet breweries before I get to FWIBF

finally checking Kern River off the list. It’s quite the drive but clearly worth it

Aventinus while I heat up the ol kettle. This past weekend the Biergarten at the front of my neigborhood was running a growler sale so I was able to get a 64 oz growler fill of it for 10 bucks!

Went to TPC Deere Run and watched more APGA golf, then a 3 mile walk, and finally $2 pints at Tap 22. Today was a disappointment from Deschutes, Tropical Fresh IPA, had a weird aftertaste I did not like (pic no. 1) and a Hazy IPA (pic no. 2), which wasn't hazy at all from Alaskan, Juneau Juice. At least the Alaskan brew was tasty with no off putting flavors, but it was not hazy at all, so misrepresented. Lost points for not being what it is advertised as.
