If it's a $30 375ml not disappointed, $60 375ml I will not buy one. It will probably be $40 lol

 

The last two have been $65/750. Can’t imagine justifying same price/half size.

 

Nothing surprises me anymore, but I think the small voices were heard and the last couple 375ml dark bottles have been a "reasonable" price. Think they pushed the boundaries pretty hard with the first few....

I’m local, and there is a good chance I don’t go to the release, but I’m glad to see they are doing big beers out the garage again. It’s been way too long.

 

To drive people onsite? To socialize and pop bottles with buddies?

 

Never gonna please everyone. They’re doing the best they can to balance appreciation to LC, local, and abroad enthusiasts

 

Not defending or justifying any of their business decisions (because at the end of the day that is what it is), but their BA stouts have become significantly more attainable which I think is good for everyone. The one thing that surprises me as a first year LC member is how quickly bottles pop up FS after the emails come out. Like literally within 5 minutes or less.

Why is everyone so sure it’s a 375? Did I miss something?

 

People are just speculating. The fact that LC will have access as well as the garage door sale leads me to believe there is a decent amount of bottles to go around so 375s make more sense than 750s. I could be wrong though. It happens a lot

Fair enough! Just wasn’t sure if I legitimately missed something.

 

My point was just - who is this for, and who are they trying to bring in? I've talked to a number of people that would have made the drive for a 750, but not a single one will make the drive (if >90 minutes) to a 375. Seems like if the goal is to really have this be a drive to bring people in like the old days, a 375 isn't really doing it. Hell, a 750 with a 1-bottle package probably would. So, it just seems like a really odd choice.

I think if the goal was to bring people in from out of state they wouldn’t be doing this release on a Friday, but a Saturday instead.
