Ha, I was just up there. I've only driven Mt. Wash, but if Ascutney is half what it is, you are a feking mad man. Remember the beer based carb loading is a post race thing.

I think this song expresses that. It's not metal. In fact, I think Soda Stereo is often called the U2 of Argentina/Latin America. The song translates roughly to "In the City of the Furies" and the lyrics are about the rage felt towards the old government. There's one line of the song that says something along the lines of "if I could just get a shot at you between your legs."

I've literally never heard of them or that cause. I'm 100% going to dig into them now.

Utopias BA 120 min is quite possibly my beer revelation of 2023 - so far, anyway. You want a nice, slow sipper, that somehow also delivers your hop fix? There isn't a better blend for my money.

I'm going to have to try to grab another four pack, as I'm down to one, and while I'd love to see what some age does to it, it's phenomenal fresh.

    Cheers!

I got turned on to them through a friend in college that had spent time in Mexico, was fluent in Spanish and was really into the Rock En Espanol thing. Also turned me on to a Mexican band called Jaguares that's pretty cool.

Enjoying a pastry stout from Eighth State out of Greenville, SC. It is a bit too sweet for my palate but a very interesting and well made beer.
    Cheers!

The Alchemist Heady Topper. The one and only. Drinking most of it out of the can, but I did put some in a glass to see if there was any difference and there really is. Out of the glass brings more hop aromas, but the can brings more carbonation and a more complex hop and malt profile. No question out of the can is best practice. Follow those directions kids.

Maybe so…I can see it being a low abv pounder…I just couldn’t get past the smoked ham…an entirely new beer experience for me. Cheers!

Enjoying the last of my bargain KBS bought last year at my local grocer. Purchased two KBS as part of a mixed six pack for $10.99. Still tastes very good!
    Cheers!

Never enough smoke for this guy. Smoke can go too far towards BBQ at times though, and a Grodz should be light and nuanced so maybe the one you had is not a typical example.
