Wax Wings Triple Thicccarus TIPA. Orange Smarties, orange marmalade, orange peel, ruby red grapefruit, ripe mango, honeydew melon, apricot, pine resin. These guys put out some of the best TIPA's in the game.

    good luck with your race
Have another beer with Charlie, your lucky neighbor

I’m sure given a choice Charlie always seems to pick your house, rain or shine

    1) Junkyard Vince Vega (8.1% canned 2/28/23): A NEIPA from Minnesota with Citra for flavors of orange citrus, white peach, tangerine. A creamy malt body.
    versus
    2) BlackStack Purely Decorative (8.2% no canning date): A NEIPA from Minnesota with El Dorado, Strata, Luminosa for flavors of orange, lemon, pineapple, and mango. Juicy and complex. (Correctly matched the two beers blind)

    Winner:
    1) Junkyard Vince Vega:
Minneosta NEIPA battle. Have had Purely Decorative many times and one of my favorites from BlackStack. No canning date, but assume they are roughly the same age. Nice grapefruit and mango flavors from the Strata and Luminosa. Still drinking extremely well. First try at this one from Junkyard. Looks like they changed the recipe as now this one is all Citra. Big and creamy IPA but tons of complex flavors for solely the Citra hop. Three months out and this is great. Just look at it. Big, smooth, creamy, and flavorful. Reminds me of some of the big and creamy Eagle Park IPAs. Junkyard, despite the name, can make some of the best haze coming out of The Cities in my opinion.

    Thanks!

Oddly intuitive, exactly the tune I had in mind when referencing shelter.

The over/under on who's house is even... my neighbors are consummate hosts.

I might have missed it, how was your Memorial Day Weekend visit to my fine state?

    Cheers!

We had a great time….. went to TH 2 hours early because of holiday hours, my wife hit the horn, hit the gas and said “sorry about your luck Chuck”

    Still not recovered from that!

Back home safely with a Torpedo IPA.....to swap the stator in the distributor you need an arbor press and torch....blah, blah.....so a new distributor tomorrow from National Parts Depot......so lucky they are 5 miles from our house.

Interstellar Burst. A DIPA brewed by Triple Crossing. I have not had it in awhile but it is just as good as I remember.

[IMG] Cheers to @tolar111 for kicking us off! After a short week, which felt like a regular week of work, I’m decompressing for a 4 day weekend! It was a “broiler “ today here in SEPA (and even hotter in the truck)! Starting off with a “Mighty “ American Barleywine from Treehouse!

Such a perfect beer. It's my highest rated beer on BeerAdvocate. Almost opened one today, but holding out and saving it for another time this summer.

Fair point, Doc. I have come to think of Grodziskie as a Polish smoked wheat beer...their version of a Rauch. Plus, I love ham! Cheers!

Hey my friend - so far just some minor rumbles and a few flashes of lightning, otherwise just light rain. But we do need the rain as I'm sure you're aware of

    That's a good beer too ..
