Not a big fan either

 

Tryin a local guy. It's newer, but not the milkiest milkshake I've ever had. It's aight

 

My appreciation for this iconic beer can’t be any greater than it already is - even at nearly 3 months after a 3/6/23 can date, it is magnificent and the very definition of “world class,” IMHO. Absolutely love it.

I am always stumped when someone says it tastes like cat piss. Never thought folks knew how cat piss tastes. I don’t.

I have not heard or seen posts from the @TheIPAHunter . I too worry maybe something is not going well.

 

Hop Butcher Greener Times. I managed to grab all 4 Hop Butcher beers landing in St. Louis recently, but only 1 of these and this is just another great brew.

Yes, to me it’s like Sip but they took the best part out and substituted a bad ingredient

Yeah - it's lacking the malt backbone that Sip has. That's what balances Sip out so nicely. SIgh, I still got 3 cans to knock off. Cheers my friend!

Good beer from my hometown:

 

Happy hour dive bar time in my neighborhood. First up, Heights Drive Inn, Live Oak Hefe in the glass.

This Javier Marias novel is amazing so far. Its his last one before he passed away, but also long. Though I can just read his endlessly long sentences until time stops. so there you go



Then on over to The Post. With one of the best burgers in town, its on the level of Alice Blue, which you guys are familiar with. Though I have to change it up on occasion ha. Also, who said dive bars can't have good beers, most the best ones have at least some variety, as I think I have just shown
