At Coca-Cola Park takin' in an Iron Pigs game on this comfortably warm Friday night with my family.

Round 1 - Dogfish Head - Citrus Squall. Pretty meh, but on the ballpark beer spectrum it's on the high end.



Next round and real time / right now? Iron Hill - Inkredibly Juicy Hazy Pineapple IPA. Still on the higher end and still meh. Hey, it's a tick and time with the family at the ballpark!

Well, that freaking sucks, I would resort to an $18 beer then too. Sincerely hope everything works out.

 

In this heat, trying to suck down those 9% abv beers before they get too warm has the makings of a bad night...and a worse tomorrow. Going to Hamms that I can drink from the can (just like Heady haha) and put in the Yeti (looks like I made a little rhyme there lol). Cheers! (this and another can and I'm into my blue retro Hamms cans!)

Windmill Barrel Aged Nuts & Jolts (Imperial Stout aged in Willet and Heaven Hill barrels for 14 months with coffee, chocolate, and peanut butter). The coffee is from my favorite roastery around here - FLUID coffee. The chocolate is a nice mix of dark and milk and the peanut butter is definitely there. The barrel shows itself off well (bourbon, oak tannin, vanillin) with the adjuncts complementing everything. When Windmill is on, they're on. Upper tier.

 

Pretty sure this statement wins WBAYDN for 6/2/23 lol. I agree btw.

Loophole Technicality from Hop Butcher, with Amarillo, Strata, & Galaxy. Bought a pack of these after @ChicagoJ slipped one in my cooler up in Sheboygan. Been drinking so many bangers from great BAs the last few weeks I’ve neglected my locals. Went out for fresh Hop Butcher tonight but they either dropped at the other location of my shop or were sold out (doubtful). The search continues tomorrow. For now, this one canned 5/1 is doing just right.

The weather around here has been unbelievable, and so UN-Wisconsin-like. Southern Cali and AZ BAs are used to this kind of consistency in their patterns, but this shit got me nervous about snow or monsoons in July.
