What beer are you drinking while grilling? (2023)

They have possum in them. (Actually I don't know the reason. My wife bought them at the meat market but neglected to ask the reason for the name.) I might be there tomorrow and will be sure to ask. More to come if I find out. I just hope they don't give the same answer that I did.

 

A couple from this past weekend. Burgers and dogs at my dad's and handmade burgers at our place. Lager and Hamms, respectively.

Does anyone find it hard to NOT drink a beer while grilling. I do haha. Cheers!

 

My guests often bring Coors Light, or Bud light. Not gonna drink that.

 

Usually either a homebrew of choice or a 16oz Yuengling Black and Tan.
Sometimes Miller High Life or Genesee Cream Ale.
Hopefully getting a new Weber Performer charcoal grill this weekend.
I'll have to celebrate the first grill with something Belgian.

 

You need better guests!

 

Recently got a Traeger and it’s so easy to use that’s it’s worth the hassle of smoking one rack of ribs. I still use my charcoal/wood Weber though. I prefer the smoke flavor from the Weber but more work.

drinking a local new pale ale. Great bbqing beer. Full flavor and low 5% abv.

 

Good looking chicken on the grill, world class beer in the glass, and a giant and caring heart in the grill master. Salud!

 

Actually we moved out into the forest so we don't have guests very often. The guests we do have now are mostly wine drinkers.

I do love me my electric smoker also when I’m feeling lazy and don’t feel like babysitting the pit all day

 

Okay, it's not beer. Sue me. (Line forms on the right.) Gin and tonic while I grill a T-Bone. About 1/3 of a glass of Hendrick's Gin, two capfuls of Master of Mixes sweetened lime juice, two big ice cubes, and diet tonic water to fill this #proper clear plastic Solo cup. No apologies. This is a match made in heaven.

 

Had a family bbq on Sunday and enjoyed this ipa from founders mixed session ipa 12 pack. Also, grilled some chicken thighs not shown. The beer was a first for me, and overall the food and the 12 pack were a hit with the fam! I’d buy it again.
