    look: 3.75 | smell: 3.25 | taste: 3.5 | feel: 3.5 | overall: 3.5

    Clear, very dark brown body; strange colored head - very light khaki with a light purple or bluish-green tint in some light (perhaps some weird light reflection from the dark body filtering up through the head). Interesting nose; dull, earthy malt sweetness; cocoa; very slight sense of mint; faint presence overall. The taste is somewhat minty; herbal; mild phenolic bitterness; watery for the style. Medium mouthfeel; nice India pale ale tickle; light alcohol dryness.

    I am not sure what to think of this beer. It is advertised as a black India pale ale. I can see that, somewhat, but from the somewhat odd color of the head, something seems odd. The taste did improve a bit as it warmed up. May have to visit the brewery again and try one on tap and see what I think.

    Whatever Happened to The Brooklyn Dodgers a 7.9 ABV West Coast IPA brewed by Twin Elephant Brewing, Chatham NJ in collaboration with Around the Horn brewing Groveland CA. How 2 breweries 3,000 miles apart did a Colab is beyond me but the did and made an outstanding beer. Brewed with Pilsner malt and white wheat , hopped with Strata, CGX, Simcoe and Citra hops this beer is hoppy with a nice grain backbone. An excellent brew.

    So I guess I'll enjoy some more Beatles with an interpretation of an English pale ale from Vibrissa

    I saw Zebra Crossing at thought the label looked odd. A quick Google image search shows they definitely changed labels for this. The first take was somewhat simple with a professional "child-like" zebra image included; take two is minimalistically geometric and boring. Maybe a third attempt will suit my eye.

    The beer itself continues to suit my palate. Take 2 of the tune:

    I'm glad to see them around. Unique and on point for each style. I was going to grab a 12 of the SN Summerfest and join y'all delinquents but these were recommended again. It's all who you know. :sunglasses:

    Bud. The only beer my brother-in-law drinks (sometimes Busch). If Bud is not available he will just drink bourbon.
