Good morning BAs! I went to bed early and slept like a log last night. Busy with unloading the RV, starting some laundry, and taking notes on what needs to be fixed in this old house…coffee time - Stompbox Brewing, Davenport, IA’s “Helvete” coffee oatmeal stout:



Canned 6/7/23. Purchased at the brewery 6/11/23. Poured at 53°. Strong coffee nose and taste. An excellent coffee forward oatmeal stout.

A lovely sunny, low to mid 70s day forecast today. I need to run out to the hardware store and the grocery store, and should be back later. Cheers and have a terrific Tuesday y’all from South Charleston, WV!

 

Good Tuesday BA's! Sept in til 0700 on this vacation day. Bike ride done, laundry done, time to spend a few hours with the pressure cleaner.....but first Guayabera.

 

After hanging out with a real-life black and tan, time for a cool lager to ease into the day. Prost!

Hey-o again,

After an ez pace 6 miler out there on soggy, wet trails and roads, a little NA Zero G recovery beverage. Have some "quality" (ugh) Zoom time planned today, not sure if I'll pony up for the real thing later, but we'll see. Be well - drink well.

Poperings Hommel Bier. Awesome classic stuff from Belgium.
The area of Poperinge is worth a visit for any beer lover by the way. You can call it the Beer Capital of Flanders I think. It is where you find Westvleteren, Watou, De Struise and the likes.
