    Good Morning!

The sky is hazier than an IPA from Canadian wildfires and now one in the BWCA. Happy Thirstday!

Thanks for opening the bar this morning @mngermanshepherd , and loved reading about your Vegas Big Dog beer in LNBA @Schmittymack !

Sleep clock at my natural preference so stayed up through the night, the latest thing before coming here to contemplate and post a beer was read the lengthy interview of Fritz Maytag posted by @jesskidden which I highly thank "Jess" and recommend.

    https://americanhistory.si.edu/sites/default/files/file-uploader/Fritz Maytag transcript 28 March 2017.pdf

One of my favorite parts beyond the pay to play (page 27) endemic in Chicago was his thoughts and approach to packaging (page 20). Should have pulled out one of these to enjoy while reading.

Could last until 2024 without bringing home more beer, but will seek Navaja and Anchor, perhaps the SN Variety Pack over the next few days. Will really miss Anchor and especially Our Special Ale, may need to fly West to catch it at the brewery this December.

Another Sapporo draft Gold Star and some clams grilled on the plate (tough to capture in the photo the flame under the shell). It was very, very good.

Good day BAs! Thanks to @mngermanshepherd for starting today's thread. Looks like another rainy day, what little I can see through the fog - 48F/9C currently and I've got to get some more fencing up today - rabbits or groundhogs stripped the leaves off another tomato plant.

    Today's New Breakfast Beer:

Darn good oaky Marzen - the oak sets it apart from many of the sweet malty variants - IMHO, miles above most typical Marzens. Rating 4.15, rDev +10.4%

Morning, BAs! I've got some personal stuff to help my partner with today, so from a work perspective, I'm basically on weekend - so I may as well drink like it. :stuck_out_tongue:

Only one left; man, this four pack did not last long. This has easily been the smoothest batch of fresh KBS I can recall having in a long, long time.

    Cheers!

I dig that the hop cone on the can has a textured feel. And the beer is damn good as well! Cheers!!

...no, not a coffee stout, but a fine mid-morning beer all the same...thanks, Dave...

...yesterday I estimated my bicycle ride would be between 35 and 40 miles distance...when I rolled up to the garage, the bicycle computer had 35 miles exactly...couldn't have planned it any better...a little sore waking up this morning, but have a 90-minute full-body massage later this afternoon...life is good...
