    Rainy, totally gloomy/cloudy and much cooler than those past few weeks. We needed rain, and that’s fine.

    Nice beer to enjoy a gloomy day with! Great whites congregate in great numbers at a point south of the Outer Banks of North Carolina in very deep water- breeding or making plans?

    Hello early BAs! Ta @EdmundExley for uncapping today's thread. I'm the water boy at home today. Gotta douse all beds and such. Hot hot hot & dry. Our irrigation contractor has us booked for end of July. Uhgggg. So, I'm punching in early. Spaten Lager to key the day.

    Good morning/day BAs! Rainy and a cool 60° this morning, high forecast will be 70°; nice cool weather here in the Valley…some coffee to start my day - Lagunitas’ “Willettized” Coffee Stout aged in rye oak barrels:

    Bottled 2022. Poured at 52°. Rye is always drying for me, and not my favorite. I like this beer well enough, but I’m finding very little coffee. Some mouth warmth from 13.1%. For me, this beer is all barrel notes…I have 1 more bottle to put in my cellar to age.

    I have to finish caulking in the new tub faucet, then a store run before tonight’s bottle share which should be tons of fun. Cheers and have a great day y’all!
