    look: 3.5 | smell: 4 | taste: 4 | feel: 3.75 | overall: 4

    Pale yellow body; thin, white head. splotchy blobs and patches of foam inside the glass. Cracker aroma. Cracker flavor; bread crust; mineral-like; herbal hop note, grassy. Medium-light mouthfeel; crisp; taut.

    For a supposedly high ABV beer, this is so easy drinking. The alcohol strength is very well-hidden. The beer is light, refreshing, and very clean overall.

    Sierra Nevada Flipside Red IPA. @jkblr I remember buying Ruthless Rye by the case. I’ll be going back for another 12-pack of the fan favorite as well.

    Yeah, I'd have to say so. I like that I can buy a 12 pack of Stone vs a 4 pack of Wormtown. That doesn't mean I don't like Wormtown, I love most of their beers. I will always have more Wormtown brews in the house. The only one I really didn't care for was UHP - that's a strange beer - too much bubblegum for me. Cheers!

    My beer purchasing has contracted. About a year ago suddenly developed a real aversion to NEIPA. Too many really crappy versions. Both local to MA and elsewhere. Yeast. Yeast. Yeast. No thank-you.

    Main purchases - Second Fiddle & Sip of Sunshine, whichever is fresher. Hoponius Union or other Jacks Abby lager. Or fresh Notch. And when available, Captain’s Daughter. You keep your frig stocked with those, and I guarantee a smile.
