An excellent WCIPA. Earthy pine, bitter grapefruit peel, sticky resin. Beautiful hot afternoon here - live band on stage:

Really have enjoyed everything I’ve had from this brewery and this may be the best yet. Double Coastal West Coast Style DIPA, from Sketchbook Brewing Company, Evanston, IL. @GrumpyGas @ChicagoJ don’t sleep on Sketchbook!


Still listening to Plant. What a legend. When I was sixteen I felt deprived because Zeppelin was done. I’d have loved to witness the ‘75 version, but man, guy still has it!

The rain has stopped, the sun is out, and it's about a million percent humidity. In short, my kind of weather (apologies to @hopsputin). Resetting the old palate with this DIPA collaboration. I'll tell anyone who will listen (and many who won't) how I'm not a fan of Strata hops but after a big, sweet, BA Stout, this is tasting fine. Cheers from muggy North Jersey!

That's a solid Imperial IPA from CCB. I don't drink IIPA that often, but I usually grab some of that when it hits the shelves.

My Dad's dad's family were farmers in Downeast North Carolina for many generations so I come by it honestly.

That's really hard for me to answer since I don't particularly like vocalists. That's one of the reasons i like instrumental music. Probably due to my long history of working with vocalists. But if I had to pick a few, I like Mark Knopler, always loved Eric Burdon, and the Moody Blues. I don't really have any favorites.
