Thanks - they came out great - 250 degrees for 5 hours - low and slow. Best of all - I have left overs

Years ago I could have eaten a whole rack in one sitting, but not anymore. About a 1/2 rack is my limit now.

Drinking one of those 19.2oz cans of racer 5, first time having this been in many, many years. Still pretty solid stuff.

Well, that's another tough one since I llke a lot of guitarists. But if I had to pick ..

Howard Roberts is my number one choice - have loved his playing since the sixties.

Jeff Beck would have to be my number two choice, but totally different style of music.

Larry Carlton has always been a favorite of mine.

And there's many more. You can probably hear that a lot of my style of playing came from these guys.

    Cheers Lads!

Good scavenging at the singles section of the local emporium today. Great Divide Orabelle back on the shelf, and my first sighting of SummerFest. by SN, no sixers though, weird.

    Enjoying an Orabelle.

For an early dinner, made baby bella mushroom grilled cheese sandwich (with some good Havarti cheese), pasta and fruit salad. Saint Arnold Amber in the glass. This worked out pretty well :sunglasses:

Of coarse Larry knows his guitar players, so its not a surprise you included Larry Carlton.

There is no right list for sure, but just a few more names to throw out there:

John Mclaughlin, to many great things. Though a band not many people know about is his Trio of Doom. With Tony Williams and Jaco Pastoirous :astonished::sunglasses:

John Abercrombie, his playing with well everyone in the 70's on the ECM label is amazing. His Gateway band in particular I like, but he also did a lot of more subtle things.

Another mostly jazz ECM guitarist is Ralph Towner

Oh and can't leave out John Scofield

Thanks!! The Danelectro's have "lipstick" pickups which have a pretty unique sound. They were literally made of lipstick tubes with a single coil pickup inserted into them. I really dig the sound of them. I have another Dany with 2 lipstick pickups - that's what I used on this tune.

I love Danelectro's and they're reasonably priced and fun, quirky guitars. Jimmy Page liked using Dany's.
