Settling in for the AEW show with a big barrel aged beer.

 

Maine Beer Company just pulled out of Houston I was wondering why I haven't seen any bottles lately. I love their beers.

 

Well 3 and 1/2 work days until the 5 day weekend. Only half day this Tuesday, I have lunch plans with a buddy at a brewery.... Stone Enjoy by 7-4-23, really liking his batch.

 

My condolences. I would be upset if I could not get Maine Beer Company pale ales and IPAs.

Veil brewery is just 10 miles away. They brew great IPAs and DIPAs. I go there almost weekly. Truth be told my friend, I will take a Maine Beer Company IPA before a Veil IPA.

 

This will likely be my closer for the evening.

Cheers to mom! Cheers to her health! My wife's grandmother, who almost made it to 100, drank a Hamm's or 2 ( sometimes more) almost every day. She switched to Miller Lite temporarily to cut down on calories. 96 calories, so she thought if she had 4 that was 100 calories. Switched back to Hamm's when we told her that would be 384 calories. She was quite a woman. Always offered me a Hamm's and a minced meat sandwich whenever we visited.

I will for sure have some more Orval soon, I tend to save my stash for the weekends to look forward to ha.

 

Currently discussing matters with a tall boy of Fernson Lion's Paw Lager. Had a fine time last night exploring beers with @GreenBayBA , @Mdog , @cheeseheadinMinneapolis and @Victory_Sabre1973 . Les dewitt again! Here's a few from it. I didn't get a pic of the can of Hammerheart Thor Porter. Only had two pints at Spilled Grain. They were good.. Cheers!

 

Thanks!!! I picked up 6 bottles of Orval a couple of weeks ago and drink one when the mood strikes. Such a great beer!!

Oh and here's that 2013 Bigfoot from last nite. Thanks @cheeseheadinMinneapolis ..Had a 2018 beside it which was malty and the 2013 just blew it away as it was super hoppy and dry. Cheers!

Mdog brought the Bigfoots. ya the 2013 still had some hops in it. And was better than the 2018 in my opinion.
