    Needed to hastily create this thread before finishing this crushable Dortmunder-Style Lager.

    Full review in the New Beer Sunday #958 thread. Bottom line, this is only my second known Dortmunder, but really like the balanced malt/hop treatment and taste. Will be seeking more of this style and particular beer in the future.

    Not sure if they will postpone the junior circuit until tomorrow, but the main NASCAR race should go off with the rain finally clearing later this afternoon. Coming down very hard the past hour.

    Bruuuuuuccceeeee! @vabeerguy - Hope your wife continues to mend and you can hit the Outer Banks before Hurricane Season.

    Afternoon BA and thank to @ChicagoJ for starting us off.

    Something a little different for me this morning. It's a witbier made with Cornish nettles. I've not idea what nettles taste like but there's a funky aftertaste to this. Aside from that it's a pretty solid witbier.

    [​IMG] This is a very tasty local barrel aged stout not sure of the ABV, the guy was thinking 10.5%. Very complex and silky smooth. Cheers all.

    I can't say for sure what it was, definitely a green taste to it. I'll be the first to admit I'm not the best at picking up on notes.

    Good morning/day BAs! Starting with a BA imperial stout from Fifty Fifty Brewing Co., Truckee, CA - Eclipse Imperial Stout with Honey:

    Bottled 2016. Blue Wax, 10th Release Edition. Poured at 58°. An IP Trade with @beergoot . Bitter charred oak, bittersweet dark chocolate, mild honey linger. One of the Eclipse variants I have never had and wanted to try from this awesome brewery. Thanks Dave!

    A lazy boozy beer Sunday on tap for me today, in part to recover from 3 straight days of bottle shares, in part to unpack, in part to drink some of the awesome beers I’ve accumulated the last 2 months. Cheers from hot and steamy SW FL - Cheers y’all!

    Everyone wanted breakfast, so that was four servings of cheesy scrambled eggs, and two servings of spicy corned beef hash topped with a fried egg. I will be doing dishes for the rest of my life, it seems. :stuck_out_tongue:
