    Continuing my Hungarian beer adventure, today is another beer from Reketye, their "szűretlen búza sör": unfiltered wheat beer.

    Thank you for opening the bar today @flagmantho , and welcome to morning drinking @Danmullens1 ! I assume you meant Thunder Road yesterday, though Born To Run isn't a bad selection. TR is #1 for me with Rosalita #1A. First of two this extended weekend by this brewery, thinking I'll like the second better.

    Full review linked here in the extended New Beer Weekend Thread. Bottom line, I'm enjoying but the candy / bubble gum flavors are knocking me for a loop.

    Chimay Blue, this year edition.
    It is the same every year. There was only a small change in taste or brewing years ago I believe. The year is on the label because it stays good (or great, and even can get better) over the years.

    My buddies and I cracked open a magnum of 13 or so year old Chimay Blue during Covid when one of our local fancy beer establishments was clearing out the cellar to keep some money in the bank. Maybe 5-6 years would have been good, but 13 is a bit too much. So drink it now, I say :grinning:

    Next up is Bright Lies IPA by Brew Your Mind here in Hungary. I discovered them on my last trip here and have loved everything I have tried of theirs -- they make hazies and they are good at it. They're basically the Tree House of Hungary.
