Having a Second Fiddle ..



I bet not many folks here have ever heard this tune. These guys were a big part of the "Bosstown" sound. Jeff Baxter played on their second album, but not this track. This is classic psychedelic music from Bosstown, circa 1968. The Bosstown sound never took off nationally because it was deemed too close sounding to the San Francisco sound. I used to listen to underground radio religiously at the time.

Since you are watching WWE Monday Night RAW, allow me to throw in this jab. 6-0 for the Chicago Cubs, then it all fell apart. There are three more games this week though. A lot can change.

 

In a German-Austrian mood: last night two Paulaner Hefeweizen, a perennial favorite of mine, and tonight an Eggenerg Maibock. The latter is a beautiful, malty beer that I will buy again.

 

I’m not sure which one I have. It seems quite intrigued by my glassware and somewhat less by me!

Not the same thing, but reminds me of the beer and egg scene in The Verdict with Paul Newman.

Having a Lunch, it's nice, ultimately tasting no strong bite to the bitterness but im also not sure if that's my tongue numb from ice cream prior... probably shouldn't have ice cream before "tasting" but who really cares...

Also been on this hardcore kick of hard pouring everything as a joke. I at least think its funny.
