Good morning, folks in the US! I'll kick things off here with a Cherry Hero from Monyo Brewing. Cherry beers are very popular here in Hungary (I can't speak for the rest of Europe), and almost every craft brewery has one, as well as every macro brewery. This one is quite tasty, brewed with sour cherry juice and then back-sweetened after fermentation.

Just returned from a walk in the too hot for before 9AM Chicago weather which will pass over after storms come through later today. I celebrate Independence Day today, as at 11:26 AM I will enter year fifth of my personal independence. Will go out the next few days with nicer days to celebrate.

Special beer to celebrate. Took the first sip out the can, pouring the rest as I do all beers because I like releasing and decreasing the impact of carbonation.

Weather has been crappy up to this point during this, my vacation week at the lake in NH, but today is glorious. As such, it's not too early to bust out a beer, which I'm about to enjoy out on the dock. Life is good.

De La, from Kent Falls. Farmhouse ale fermented with native cultures, aged in red wine barrels, then matured in stainless on apricots, peaches and nectarines. This was bottled in January, 2019 and is still quite tasty.

Good morning, BAs! @ChicagoJ I think I'm picking up what you're putting down. I personally held a house-cooling party when I gained my independence. Many beers were shared and consumed among friends.

Tipping back a big breakfast stout to start the day.

Digging through the beer cellar, found a few of last season's marzens down there - this works on a warmish morning!

    Cheers, and happy Wednesday!

Last day off before returning to work tomorrow. Being a lazy day - I have a beef brisket in the smoker and am having a Summerfest - it's getting pretty hot out so this is hitting the spot.

The Shepasaurs have done their zoomies, wrestling and stick chewing, so time to settle back with a Grain Belt and enjoy somewhat cooler temps. Cheers!

Fail as you didn’t like it or the ABV is just a bit too low?

I last purchased it quite some time back too, while wrongly assuming it was just another strong Chimay. It’s good on the palate but I like a stronger ABV.

It's not bad. But I was not in the mood for such a low ABV beer. It is a good option on a hot summerday but now I wanted something stronger. I always seem to forget Chimay gold is below 5%.

Tip Top there BAs! Thanks @flagmantho for 3910. Already got my run in today and it rained ystrdy here so I'm free. No wildfire smoke and cooler air temps that don't feel like hell's backup generator. I will begin beering with this Central Waters Passion For Pineapple HIPA. It snuck its way out of the BA hook up in Annandale a few days back. Damn good beer. Cheers!

    Greetings and good day all!

Wow, just wow. Found Saison Dupont which is in my opinion anyway one of the best Saison/Farmhouse ale there is.

But that’s not why I’m wow’d. It’s for the price I have found it in the supermarkets so see bellow:

Yes, you’ve read that right. 4,50€ for a 750ml bottle of Saison Dupont. Couldn’t ever beat such a great deal.

    Cheers!

Hubbards Cave El Zacoton impy Mexican stout... so good and medium-high heat. I've seen pictures of the chile powder in the lacing, that holds up. I remember Duclaw Coco Fuego being as hot or hotter than this but that was a long time ago in my beer drinking career
