    Greetings BAs!

    Finishing up the 750ml bottle of Saison Dupont from yesterday evening. It was also worth posting in the Salute to saisons thread this am, as I said there I love plenty of farmhouse ale. Maybe this one is iconic. Sofie from Goose island was good too, and also Tank 7 from Boulevard we don’t find much anymore here.

    Maybe that’ll come as a surprise to many, but some of you know my wide appreciation for music in the very large :wink: sense of the term. Love plenty of genre but only have attended a handful of concert for some reason.

    The Prodigy in 2010 was one of them.

    Howdy @EdmundExley, and thanks for kicking things off!

    Today sees the start of the third cricket test between Australia and England, with Australia currently holding a 2-0 lead in the series. The last match was marred by accusations of cheating from the Englishmen and counter-accusations of whinging from the Australians. So, in the spirit of cordial international relationships, I present One Love Pale Ale from Brick Lane Brewing in Melbourne, with the age-old question: why can't we all just get along?

    Grimbergen Blonde is alright, but more sweet than its other Belgian counterparts like Affligem and Leffe. Good enough for this late afternoon while watching an important stage of the Tour in the Pyrénées.

    I don’t usually post draft beer here, but this one is too odd to pass up: Banana Mama from Synthesis in Budapest. It’s kinda like banana flavored Runts if anyone remembers those.

    Final day of Day 1 (1D) today at the WSOP. Watched every minute of streamed coverage so far, been a blast. Phil Hellmuth will be one of the players streamed today, coming off of his 17th bracelet last week.

    Back now, morning chores done and drinking a recently received in Racine, WI IP trade beer - Central Water’s 25th Anniversary Series: Orange Curaçao Parkers Heritage Barrel Imperial Stout:

    Courtesy of my OG trading buddy @Number1Framer . Bottled 2023. “Aged 54 months in French Orange Curiçao [barrels] used to finish Parkers Heritage Bourbon.”

    Poured at 58°; Black with ruby edges; fast, fizzy incomplete dark tan cap; poor cap retention; fleeting thin ring; small island of micro dots; a a few spots of lace on agitation; thin legs. Orange liqueur, bourbon and chocolate nose; hot, boozy retro nasal. Chocolate, orange, bourbon, oak; boozy orange liqueur finish. Medium minus body; silky smooth feel; alcohol bite on tip of tongue; light carbonation; full on mouth warmth from 13.7%abv. Overall, drinks “Wisconsin thin”; long boozy linger; like drinking a chocolate bourbon ball soaked in Curaçao; the orange is undeniable; absolutely delicious!

    Maybe the best beer I’ve had from Central Waters (Black Gold)? Thanks Andy for this delicious beer!

    This bomber was an easy drinking “pounder” regardless of heat, humidity or abv…as I post, the bottle is empty…Cheers y’all!

    Late lunch at the Barleygarden in Alpharetta. I don't find Weihenstephaner Pils in stores much around here, but I do find it on draft a couple places. Always a good chocie. It's really hitting the spot this afternoon. Prost!
