    Good morning folks! It's a hot one today in Budapest: noon just ticked over and we're already above 90ºF with an upward trend.

    Today I've got Dealbreaker Noise Trade, a solid NEIPA. This brewery has its beers contract brewed elsewhere, which seems pretty common in the craft scene here in Hungary, particularly as a way for a company to establish a brand before going out and doing all the capital investment to put together a physical brewery.

    Good day BAs! Thanks @flagmantho for starting today's thread - keep those Hungarian beers coming!

    It's 65F/18C and cloudy so it may dry up enough to allow me to pull weeds in my garden, but today is brewing day - a rye stout that'll be split between oak/rye and oak/bourbon finishing.

    Today's New Breakfast Beer, a good NEIPA from a trade with @woodchipper - thanks Peter, I enjoyed this one! Rating 4.03, rDev -0.2%

    Next up is Still Dreaming by Brew Your Mind. My opinion has not changed: these guys are the best brewery in Hungary.

    Went back to Northern France for a gravel ride. Now time for a De Struise beer. It has been years since I bought beer from them. Quality sucked and prices went up. This Pannepot seems close to the quality from before they got big. Cheers

    Bottled 6/1/23. Poured at 54°. Wait a minute, someone’s kidnapped my breakfast beer baby!, and all that’s left are some meaningless new slogans, a spoon and a half eaten bowl of oatmeal :cry: ! I guess the baby has grown a bit and moved onto hard liquor…

    At 9:30am EST it’s 85°, feels like 93°, and I’m likely inside for the day. Cheers and have a marvelous Monday y’all!

    Moving on to something a little different ... this next one is from Reketye brewing, a kveik sour ale with cherry, red currant, and tonka beans. Tonka beans have been illegal as a food additive in the US for like 70 years, but are just dandy here in Europe. This is quite good, if rather more of a dessert beer.
