    This is not New beer weekend, but I’m having a new to me Belgian Tripel and apparently a winner for this country (no less!) at the World Beer Awards.

    Tripick it is.

    Standard format for Europe (330ml) and also sort of a standard ABV for this style at 8%.

    Leaves also a massive foam, slowly fading.

    Pretty much a delish, and honestly have never heard of this beer before. Saw it in the supermarket and pulled the trigger.

    As usual for me, I’m sure I’ll buy again until the shelves are about empty thanks to me.

    Good day BAs! Thanks to @MadMadMike for starting today's thread!

    Currently 63F/16C and will allegedly be sunny today, so back into the yard work! Made a batch of a rye-based stout yesterday which will be secondarily fermented on rye- and bourbon-soaked oak chips. It should be ready to savage by Wurstfest.

    A winter warmer, far from my favorite style. But here the spice is very subdued, making it actually drinkable. Rating 3.63, rDev -8.3%
