    Locations:
    Queens: 78-01 77th Ave, Glendale, NY 11385
Brooklyn: 545 President St, Brooklyn, NY 11215

Nearest Subway Stop: Metropolitan M/Myrtle-Wyckoff L for Queen, Union Street R for Brooklyn.
Parking: Seems pretty easy near the Queens location, though it's close to a residential neighborhood. Brooklyn location should be OK, but plenty of construction nearby these days.
Citibike: None close to Queens location. For Brooklyn, corners of 3rd and Carroll or 4th and Union.

    cant let this thread die.

Had my beloved BCBS Coffee today, not even close to what it used to be. BQE 2022 blows it away.

Yeah I was excited to get that for the first time in a while, but same. A little underwhelmed. And yeah for sure Finback stouts still rule, despite your ownership stake.

I just ended dry January with the root and branch finback stout collab. I’m happy with my decision. It’s great. Not cloying at all and full of amazing flavor

Just seeing this now. 2022 Bourbon County Coffee was not good at all. I stupidly bought 3 bottles so I’m hoping the other 2 come around but I’m not holding my breath. Honestly, I did not like it which I couldn’t believe.

I am happy to report that Finback Brooklyn in spite of the frigid weather was PACKED. My “I LOVE BEER ADVOCATE” shirt was 4 layers down and not visible, too bad, if it wasn’t I could have pushed the site and this thread would be cooking at 4 or 5 pages by now.

Finback’s having a beer festival, but it’s in Rhode Island. What sense does make?

I always found that odd/confusing. Maybe one of the higher-ups has RI roots.

https://www.durkincottages.com/your-guide-to-whale-watching-in-rhode-island/#:~:text=The most common species to,see some seals as well!

The most common species to see in the area is the finback whale, which are drawn to the warmer waters in the summer months. You might also see varieties like humpback whales, false killer whales, pilot whales, and more. If you happen to take a will cruise in the wintertime, you might even see some seals as well!

If that’s the actual reason then it’s even more confusing as the location is not on the coast.

Basil (half owner) grew up in RI. His parents owned China Inn, Pawtucket. Very famous restaurant in NE in the 1980's.

I think he even graduated the culinary program at Johnson and Wales.

Well, to be fair, all five counties in Rhode Island are considered coastal counties. There’s a reason the billion dollar Fox Point Hurricane Barrier was built at the confluence of Narragansett Bay and the Providence River.

has anybody tried Finback Unification IPA? Surprised not to find it listed. A 6.5% ABV hazy/NE style IPA, served at an Upper West Side Manhattan bar in an actual pint glass, for less than $10. So that's a plus. Not amazing - after a few refreshing sips I was turned off by a too floral/fruity aroma, but had no problem finishing it off. I'd give it a 3.5.
