    Hey all!

    Continuing my lonely Ashes vigil as Australia takes on England in the cricket. I started an Ashes beer thread over in the Aussie forum but it appears about as popular as the vegan at a BBQ festival. Regardless, I'll keep the fire burning (get it? Fire, Ashes, BBQ? No? I'll see myself out...).

    Even though I have little interest in cricket, I have always enjoyed the Ashes. Mostly because I love watching the English and their mostly unrealistic hopes evaporate each time (call it peer pressure given that I have lived in Wales and Scotland).

    It's a fun sport once you get to know it. But one that is hard to get I to unless you grew up with it.

    @cbcrunch - Really enjoyed Hello LA at Highland Park's taproom this winter. Recommend visiting for those visiting the area, their food looked good but I had and enjoyed the French Dip at Philippe before.

    Hope I can stay awake after this one, with the Sox at Mets game approaching and a Deep Woods pickup and possible events to follow. Should have done this a few hours ago.
