OK boys and girls, I got up at the crack of dawn and worked 7 hours before lunch. Now taking a break with a classic. Might take the rest of the afternoon off. Cheers!

3 Sheeps Lemongrass Pils (4.5%): A German Pilsner from Wisconsin with flavors of lemongrass, lemon zest and smooth, bready malts.

Been eyeing this one for some time now. Definitely and interesting beer. I generally love the lemongrass hop flavors so had to try this one. A little more artificial lemon zest and lemon cleaner than hops alone would impart.. But off the backend, much better with smooth lemonbread flavors. Excellent mouthfeel, carbonation, and backend altogether. 3 Sheeps, although this isn't my beer, they make some of the best beers I've had. An aside, get ready because their Oktoberfest is the best out there.

I decided to revisit this one since it was really fresh, tasting pretty good although I still prefer Second FIddle



Going to be getting stormy here shortly, severe thunderstorm warnings popping up across the area. This one looks like it will be moving through around 5-5:30 pm.

Chronicle Brewing Business Socks New Zealand IPA. I like the flavour profile, but this beer is very watery and there is a candy sugar aftertaste that is off-putting. Oh well.
