I played golf with someone today who was there for opening day at the course. Said it was a very weird experience.

Tee times are early but they can’t serve beer until ten. So let’s say you have an eight am tee time, you’re done before they can serve you anything. But the taproom doesn’t open til 11, so you can even hang for a beer after your round if you want to play early. As someone who prefers an early round (I was off at 7am today, 8am Tuesday), this isn’t ideal.

I do love some afternoon golf though. We’ll see I guess. How’s anyone’s experience been?

So you want the brewery open to serve you pints at 8:30am?

The parents completely disregarding the clearly stated signs of “keep off the course” and bringing their children out to the sand trap and literally encouraging them to throw sand and fuck around on the greens is next level fuck off to staff. It’s not even aggravating at this point but expected. When the two employees had to zip over on a golf cart and walk out to bitch at them and probably ask if they can fucking read was epic . The cheers and claps the employees got while shaming the more than one family were epic. The general public really is garbage. The video I shared got some laughs. God bless that deck patio. The idiots and things you get to watch. Nate needs a webcam like our surf cams up there.

All on an active gold course.

From what I understand, it's only a certain beer that they fill (and refill) into aluminum container. I guess I'm assuming it's something light and low ABV. I get why they wouldn't pour 18 oz of Haze at 8:30 am. But it's certainly not uncommon for someone who is spending money to golf on a day off that they'd want a Bloody Mary or even a beer, regardless of time. Golf is very much like an airport.

That makes much more sense, as opposed to opening to the public for all pours that early. Golf pils is excellent and fits the bill

Pick one. Guava treat vs big guava?

Batch 6,000 is very delicious.....but aside from being an 8.3% DIPA, what is it? New yeast? Old Yeast? Hops?

Will be going out to Sandwich location on a Monday evening to do the Sunset Deck experience. Looking for suggestions for food afterwards? Preferably a pub like atmosphere within a reasonable distance. Thanks, tried searching thru here but was bogged down by all the posts!

If you wanna stick to that area, I'd go with The Local Tavern & Grille. It's less than five minutes from the taproom. Father's Kitchen & Taphouse would be a decent backup option.

Sandwich has been out of Julius for most of the past 4 days. Was available Wednesday, but not Thursday - Saturday. Was available at open today but seemingly gone by end of day. I've been specifically waiting on a trip while on Cape (couldn't go today) for Julius to be around.

No Green any of those days either. Haze some of them.

There’s thousands of combinations of hop doses they can use to make new beers, which is why they do on a monthly/weekly basis. Lately they’ve been stating when a beer is using the new yeast

I’m going to be in Boston next week and plan to drive out to the Charlton location when they open on Monday. What’s the foot traffic like then? We moved out of MA before Treehouse had its other locations open.

Might need some tips on some of their current cans to go, with what not to miss. It’s been awhile.

Summer is such an awesome beer. I’ve had summer, very hazy, and very gggreen over the past few days, and I gotta say, summer just hits as a special beer for me. Hard to imagine improving upon it but I’m curious to try heat wave now

Monday should be dead. Depending on your timing-say at open-you might be the only people there. Even later arrival shouldn’t be an issue. You’ll likely have a very relaxing visit-no lines for pours, etc.

Unfortunately all the restaurants at the marina don't exactly hit the pub atmosphere (big fan of Fisherman's view get the knuckle sandwich). I've never been but maybe check out The Local Tavern.
