Good day BAs! @DoctorZombies, thanks for starting today's thread! Looks like a calm day today - not much going on but working on my new workbench - my Moxon vise came today so I have to integrate that into the design.

Relaxing after some back-to-school shopping with a Lahden Erkois EPL (Extra Pale Lager) from Hartwall. Stoked to have my beer glassware again. Only lost two during the their 79-day journey. RIP.

Fantastic golden body with a dense, creamy, white head; sparkling clear color; incredible slow-rising carbonation bubbles; excellent thick head, long lasting. Alluring aroma of toasted grain with a slight corn quality; noble hop scent, grassy and herbal. Delicate and balanced flavor; deft touch of light grain flavors balanced with a moderate hop bitterness; light earthy herbal tones. Medium body; crisp; quietly soft residual sugar feel.

A very nicely done iteration of a Mexican style lager.

...sure, Leo Brouwer is Cuban, but his contribution to Spanish / classical guitar music is not in question...

Just figured out a child hood best friend passed recently along with his older brother. Brings back some good memories playing yard football, riding around the city on bikes, etc. RIP

    Cheers y'all!

Yeah, I've moved a lot over the years. Lots of memories. We're talking around 24 moves since birth across 6 US states and 3 countries. I was also stationed in England and then lived there as a civilian for a while (around 6 years total). Helsinki was the biggest move so far.

My first and most probably my last Trillium beer, unless I end up visiting them at some point. Not because it's a bad beer, far from it, it's a superb beer. Just nothing better than I can get for a lot cheaper over here. Still glad I tried it though.

Picked this one up from Tall City Brewing the other day. A nice clean refreshing beer but one that didn’t quite live up to advertised expectations, especially at it’s price point.

    Cheers

It’s a good to great beer, depending on the consumer. Only thing I may slightly dislike about Rince Cochon is it’s a bit too sweet, unlike other Belgian strong pale ale like Delirium or Duvel, Chouffe.

The Stranglers have also been a fairly frequent band in my ears. Always the sun, or this one.
