Couldn't help myself and cracked a Festbier. As good as ever.

You know what's great? Picking up a beer and seeing the canning date was yesterday.

Yeah that was the one delivery I made this week. They did receive 2 cases of Vienna as well. Vienna might be my favorite of this run.

Grabbed some of the new Vienna today -- can't wait to try it Friday.

Pint is rather awesome and rather unique for the local beer scene. Fest might be my favorite Oktoberfest of the season. I would probably be there most every Sunday if I lived within a half hour.

To coin a phrase, "same as it ever was."

Very nice rendition of the style.

    Just sayin'.

Seems to be a touch lighter in ABV this year -- closer to a Helles, really, but very tasty.

@dbelford -- any reports from on site?

I had another Fest this afternoon and it really is my favorite German-style beer made in the U.S. Being from my backyard is more than a plus!

Hoping to get to RT before month's end.

PINT on cask is a real treat, digging that beer for sure.

Had a couple 'Beats Working' (summer wheat) drafts the other day while "working from home" at RT that really hit the spot.

Otherwise I'm just full go on the Festbier at this point. Likewise, it's my favorite iteration from the U.S. I am seeking out as many Festbier/Marzen/Oktoberfests i can this season (I think I have ~20ish different ones currently), but I'm quite certain nothing will knock RT from the top spot.

Pint of Pint off the cask tonight -- quite tasty along with some great lagers and a sample of the Märzen off the Zwickel -- outstanding.

Shout out to @hanuswalrus for some great beer discussion. RT really is my dream brewery.

I’m extremely confused by this, but I assume you mean “and”? Either way, I love a good Zwickel and hope to try their’s soon.

Zwickel / Kellerbiers got their name from pours straight from the fermention tank before being filtered. So, the pours were hazy with yeast particles.

I'm assuming he tried the unfinished Marzen before filtration, and was hoping someone would ask about it so he could mansplain it.

    So I'm mansplaining his mansplanation.
