I've certainly fell off when it comes to posting here regularly, however I'm attempting to get back into the saddle so to speak, but such is the convenience of the BA discord!

This was absolutely worth a mention and came as a surprise from my old man.

Martin House - Watermelon Skies



Whiskey BA sour sounded odd, but man this was a simple but delicious brew.

Pours a fairly opaque orange with a 2F bright white head.

Tart fruit aroma with a hint of whiskey booze.

Very simple but well done regarding taste, reminiscent of pure watermelon warheads and candy, with subtle boozy undertone and warmth.

Body was moderate, and surprisingly refreshing and juicy when I was expecting syrup and heft. As advertised on the can, "a tasty treat for those toasty Texas summers."

Overall a solid 4/5, and kudos to MH for their boxed bombers, aka x2 12oz cans in a box. Very pleased I have another to enjoy.
