I think that's Valley Bev in Sherman Oaks.

Zero chance. Pretty sure they both sold out at the brewery the weekends of their release.

If I recall correctly, Deprecophobia and Somniphobia were both limited brewery exclusives with no distribution, so I’d be surprised if those were on a shelf.

You sure that wasn't just the shop owner getting the bottles themselves directly at BL? We have a couple shops and restaurants in Ohio that do that with local breweries here, not sure the laws around that in Cali tho.

I guess I stand corrected on the distro for Deprec/Somniphobia, but I still believe there's about zero left on a store shelf in SoCal. (And if i'm wrong about that too I'm gonna need the address).

Don't worry, next batch will be double the amount and they will sit in shelves like the others.

A few months ago someone said a bottle shop/store in Riverside had some bottles. IDK which one though

HIGHLY doubtful on these. These were sleeper libations.

Situational Awareness is probably the best BA stout I’ve had from Bottle Logic since Static Momentum. Bummer it was such a limited release.

They did for a day or two. Probably the only BL beers to sell out very quickly in recent memory.

Hey everyone! I am passing through the LA area in September and was wondering if someone could recommend a shop to stop at and get some BL that hasnt been sitting out warm on a shelf forever. Dont get them on the East Cost and I was happy with the bottle of FO i tried a few years back and want to give it another shot. Not looking to buy truck loads, just a bottle or two.
I will be crossing though LA over I10 making a straight shot to the PCHW, so something not too far off the trail would be great!

    Thanks!

They all sit on the shelves unrefrigerated at local shops. FWIW, BL allows same-day pick ups on purchases through their Toast store/online shop if you can visit their taproom.

A good spot would be Blackbeard's Craft, which is just off the 10 and usually has bottles in their refrigerated section. Another good spot is near downtown if you don't mind navigating the area, both Ramirez and Buzz. A questionable spot is Z Pizza near the airport, which has bottles in their fridge that have been sitting for years. They haven't been sitting warm on shelves, but they have been sitting. If you can turn north instead of staying on the 10, off the 101 is Handy Market who usually has a great selection.

My bad. I shouldve said the bottle shops around my way don’t refrigerate BL BA bottles or any other high ABV beers from other breweries for that matter. Even some sours are on the shelves.

OP might be in luck with FO releasing this weekend if he wants to link up with a proxy for pick up if he wants to skip the bottle shops.
