    Near but not quite the end of the week. Drinking 3 Monts, properly chilled as its best consumed. Weather is looking up in days to come with about 90F temps and sunny.

    Glad I double checked before pulling the new thread trigger Shanex :slight_smile:

    Trying out a couple new buffalo wings from the local family owned grocery store as we approach sunset here and I approach some sleep. Verdict, both the beer and wings are solid.

    If I'm ambitious, I will head to Eris Brewing later this afternoon to pick up a few more offerings for an upcoming pass through on Saturday by @Qu3st , who I believe is now steered East heading back home. He is in for some sold Chicago Hot Dogs during his planned stop.

    Hoppyum. Long story made short but my daughters are at OBX, NC on vacation (wife and I could not make it) and I asked them to bring me back a six pack of Hoppyum. I always drink it when I am on vacation there. Unfortunately, Foothills has not sold it in Richmond for many years. Some sort of distribution pissing contest.

    The body exudes a rosé hued body, sparkling clear; sparse and coarse carbonation; thin, patchy white head. Very pleasant aroma; mild cherry tones and other esters; wine-like. Mild fruity flavor with a delicate sweetness; cherries and raspberries; light sourness and tangy taste; seems like a light wheat-like malt underneath the esters. Medium body; low residual sugar undercurrent; moderately intense tartness.

    This is a very fine tasting, easy drinking spontaneously fermented ale. The 'aged on cherries' aspect adds a wonderful uniqueness to the overall appeal of the beer.

    Howdy BAs! Having a quick brew while I can here. It's a lovely day here in Cincy and this Marzen might just be the lightest tasting & feeling German-made Marzen I've had to date. I like it. Finish is fast & clean w a touch of honey. Not really drying either just simple and clean. Weltenburger Kloster Marzen. And thanks @EdmundExley for today's thread. Cheers!

    Too bad. That sounds like a stupid territorial dispute. Unfortunately I've been on both sides of that coin. Archaic franchise laws....Hoppyum is still delicious...
