    yes and if there are 600 people in LC, which may be a conservative guess, they’ll eventually be putting out an additional 50 single barrels?

    There's 800+ people in the FB group, and definitely members that aren't in the group so more than that. I'm sure some portion of members won't do a pick due to not being able to make it work for logistical reasons but either way it's real bad news for any completionists

    Let's be real though, if they pull this off over just a few year timeframe it's going to be incredible.
    Each member getting to attend a small barrel tasting session and then there being a ton of beers offered for everyone to buy (even at first come first served) it will be a ton of fun.

    Oude Fermier grand cru was insane.

    Super happy this is being released.

    Definitely had some of the delicacy of Oude Fermier b1, b2, and Merci b1. Before the decant it had the same sulfur/gasoline notes that saison du ble b1 had, but with 30 minutes that went away. Really a world class beer.

    So we are going to pick blends in groups of 12… does this count as like a vote for a certain blend? It almost reads like each group of 12 picks a blend that then gets bottled … which seems impossible. For simple math, say there are 480 members. That would mean 40 iterations…
