    Just finished an hour of gardening in the cool late Summer breeze. Rescued 8 more drink fresh beers from my cellar to the refrigerator last night. Here is one of five of this type.

    Thought this would have ticked my first Rhode Island beer until learning this is brewed in Rochester, New York (printed on the can). Thankfully, @Ocalafox mailed me a Grey Sail Captain's Daughter, seen often in the glass of our WBAYDN House Band Larrys @tasterschoice62 & @LarryV !

    Drinking the magnificent Duvel, an occasional treat nowadays but still a banger. Even more enjoyable as a few times a month purchase than a near daily one.

    From a can canned on 7/13/23 consumed on 8/28/23

    This beer pours a nice shade of amber, and very clear looking. There's a bit of carbonation rising in the glass. The head that forms is 3 finger, and slightly off white. Not long lasting at all, and there's no lacing on my glass.
    Aroma is just a faint cereal aroma. Not really much there.
    Taste is really like the nose. There's cereal in it, and a bit of caramel, but, not much there at all. It's not offensive, just somewhat bland.
    The body is decent overall. Not watery, or thin.
    This is ok, and easily drinking, but it's somewhat bland overall.

    Happy to not be on the left coast of Florida as Hurricane Idalia rapidly approaches.

    Riding out Hurricane Ian, which wrecked the SW coast 10 months ago left a mental scar.
    Fort Myers Beach and Sanibel Island are still in debris removal stage.,.

    So - best to my fellow Florida Men.,.

    Happy last Monday in August - gorgeous weather day again - gf and I did a nice 10 mile bike ride Sunday afternoon and we plan to ride more often this fall.....lots of fun!

    I can't help but notice the CBD Kratom sign. Can I get a quick rundown on wtf Kratom is? Seems like such a counterculture for something that probably isn't that bad?

    It was great sleeping late today! I’m running errands on the mainland and am paying a courtesy call at Ludlam Island Brewing. I’m drinking Oatmeal Raisin Bay Muck from the hand pump. A nice variant of Ludlam’s summer Brown Ale. Cheers from Ocean View, NJ!
