Hello, Old guy who has popped back on. Living in Oklahoma but have moved all around and started appreciating good beer more years then I can think. We actually have good beer here in OK, choices were very limited 15 or so years ago when I moved here. I was going through some old boxes and ran across the initial issue of the Beer Advocate magazine. Copyright is 2006. Have some older ones from 2007-2008.
It seems like it's almost rare to see BA members from OK in the forums, so it's good that you're back. Chime in when you can and let us know about those beers/breweries that you like. Welcome back.
Welcome back @xtalman ! Nice to see a long time craft drinker return to the website. I don't know much about Oklahoma beers beyond Krebs / Prairie Artisan Ales and really enjoy their stouts. I've only flipped through a few BA magazines at Goose Island back in the day and enjoyed a few articles in the editions I was able to read. Do you have any favorite Oklahoma breweries or beers you recommend to people visiting or buying in bottle shops? How is the bottle and draft scene there, do you get a wide selection from within your state and beyond, or are options limited?
