Terrific Oktoberfestbier. Picked up some over the weekend.

Yeah, at this particular moment, I'm liking the Paulaner more than Spaten and Hacker-Pschorr. That could change at any moment.

Edit: Also, 5L party cans of Breckenridge Oktoberfest have shown up. I'm not sure if I will indulge.

I also meant no disrespect to you for not liking them. I totally dislike sour beers, but hold nothing against those who do. As for me, I'll have another Marzan.

Three Floyd's Barrel Aged Behemoth Barleywine on the porch with a wet mutt. Much needed baths after a muddy weekend in the mountains.

The beer is still as good as I remember when it was a limited wax rarity only available at the brewery. Now it's a shelf turd back in NW Indiana. How times have changed.....

[IMG] This one is for my buddy @lordofthewiens a little Stoneface IPA while I wait for my son to get back. Impressive beer selection for a Country Club, but I kicked one keg, the Kettlehead is kicked, and the Fiddlehead is kicked.

Oktoberfest - Boom Island Brewing - 6.8% ABV

This is a lot like the Central Waters one, ok, but not much flavor.

From a can canned on 8/15/23

Clear looking amber pouring beer. Lots of carbonation rising in the das boot. It forms a 2 finger slightly off white head. Decent head retention, but no lacing on das boot.
The nose is very light, extremely light. I just get the faintest hint of cereal. Not much else stands out.
Taste is light. It starts out light, though more of the malt kicks in on the back. I do get cereal, and a very faint hint of caramel.
The body is bubbly, but also light. Crisp feeling.
Ok, but not too much here.

    3 Sheeps Sabroso (8.5% canned 7/21/23):
A NEIPA from Wisconsin with Sabro hops for flavors of tropical tangerine, pineapple, coconut, kiwi, and peaches. Smooth and creamy.

Another exceptional NEIPA from 3 Sheeps. Great showcase of the single hop Sabro flavor which I've been enjoying lately. Tropical pineapple, coconut, kiwi, pina colada flavors. Smooth and creamy in 3 Sheeps fashion. Pushing the limits on the ABV, but if anyone can do it, probably 3 Sheeps. Excellent.

    Chillin
I decided because I have no parties and it's supposed to rain I'm taking the day off tomorrow. Also cholesterol and triglycerides went down, good cholesterol went up. Sugar is a tad high. Liver function good...weight up , nit good So I'm having a 3Floyds Cat Date. Didn't notice it was 3 months- my bad. It's still decent though- nice and bitter.
