    Happy Thursday, everyone!

    I'm 50 today, which is bad, but I'm drinking beer, which is good. The beer is weird, which is bad, but I'm off to Europe in six days, which is good. This post will be short, which is bad, but I'm not waffling like usual, which is good!

    The beer is Short'n'Sweet, a Gingerbread Cookie Stout from Dainton Brewing up the road in Melbourne.

    Started at watering hole for another mini tour: SA Oktoberfest, O'Dell Oktoberfest, and 21st Amendment Brew Free or Die. Back home (laundry) and a ROS: O'Fallon Smoke. No date on bottle but it's likely at least a dozen years old. Still pretty tasty.

    Happy 50th Birthday @AzfromOz ! Hope you have a great trip and are able to post some of your beer experiences.

    Also hope everyone is safe in Florida, Georgia and the Carolinas today!

    I'm skipping an early morning home pour again today, with plans to hit a brewery or two on the north side, and pick up a few of the last Keeping Together bottles still left at Half Acre.

    Happy to report I was able to get out and find a taproom, equally happy to report their spicy fried chicken is world class. I'm on my second Vector IPA (first India Pink Ale, now something that appears to translate to Glamorous IPA), and 0 for 2 on getting non-shit pics of beer.

    I like the design of the beer. It is simple and appealing. I am excited to taste this beer. Hope this gets marketed in India soon.
