    I miss our track we had around here. Quad City Downs. They ran trotters. It was my wife's and my first date, a blind date at that. We've been married 39 years. Being the shallow young man I was at the time, circa 1984, I had a back up plan. Horse track if interested, movie if one and done. Sorry, but young men can be pretty shallow. It was the track, of course, and we were married 5 months later. Cheers!

    Starting off the day with a beer that just dropped from Goal Brewing here in San Diego. One of my good friends was gracious to give me a can of this sneaker inspired beer.

    and it was PHENOMENAL!!!

    Goal Brewing, “Chicago Ones,” Hazy IPA w/Citra Cryo+Citra, @6.7% ABV.

    One of the better Marzens made in GA - Tucktoberfest. A big, complex malt back bone on this one. Spicy hops. Goes well with a large mug. As soon as I ger my hands on some Arches Marzen, I'll be doing a blind tasting of GA made Marzen. Always fun to do. Prost VB BAs!

    Actually had a Yorkshire beer lurking, a kriek inspired ale by you know who. It’s absolutely fantastic, right in the middle of a Rodenbach and a kriek.
