Curious if anyone has recently checked out the brews by Bearded Tang in Stanton? Pleasantly surprised to find their online tap list dominated by an assortment of lagers and pilsners.

    My last can
Downtown stroll before i had to the beach
I wish these came in 12oz cans and not the ESBC 16oz format. Really makes the last 4 oz hard to drink cuz when it warms it sucks, but cold its fucking great...like the opposite of a wife

I'm over in the heat of the Sierra foothills this weekend, drinking a lot of Farmers Light. Probably the best craft version of an adjunct light lager I've had. It's brewed with "barley and estate grown sushi rice", and has no corn or weird flavors. Super refreshing.

Cans of Moonlight Reality Czeck and Death & Taxes showed up in Portland about 2 weeks ago (!), and I finally nabbed a can of each this afternoon.

It's been eons since I had Reality Czeck, and this beer is just...I mean, holy crap, it's astounding.

I also had a Velvet Glow from Russian River. Nice snappy helles, dry and light.

Urban Roots may have just dropped my favorite beer of the summer with their Edel-Pils. Snappy hops, clean finish; excellent all around. Peter Hoey put his name on it.

I picked up a crud ton of new freshies on a quick road trip yesterday. Mr K's in Placentia and bought 6 different 4pks. My first beer of the lot is from Radiant (my first time having anything of their beer) called Next Level Up. Hoppy Pils. It's delicious!

Moksa/Ghost Town Collab. Doomers Pils. A bit hoppy, a modern take for sure. Really good.

Not the biggest Timbo fan boy but I thought DDH Timbo is excellent.

Goldskorpion from Casa Agria, a brewery in Oxnard I know nothing about.
Clean and crisp with rich grainy flavor and a hint of rye bread. Long finish of resins. Just a little bitter, but plenty for the light malty flavors. Between the glowing brew and the shiny label, it does rate a second glance.

Notes of sourdough biscuits, floral hops, and a little pepper on the finish

yup. was just at rodeo 39 a month ago. they've got solid beers

the t-minus 10 czech lager was my favorite of the beers i tried. WC IPA and tank'd pilsner were solid as well. wasn't impressed at all by the mexican lager though

Looks like Russian River will be packaging STS Pils and Velvet Glow in 12 oz cans/six-pack in the near future.

This is a prayer answered for me. Been drinking a fair bit of it on tap at a local bar and I always wish I could get it in bulk for home

Reality Czeck by Moonlight Brewing Co.

First Moonlight and it does not disappoint. It was a race to pour this out of the can but I managed to only lose a sip. Floral aroma. White crackery and little spice. Nice dry finish which leaves you wanting more.

    Thanks @bret27

Blessed by the (California) lager gods. I’m glad they’re moving in that direction.

It's tough out there these days. We're at about 80% 805 family now, so despite making a ton of beer, all the other brands are pretty limited in comparison. Shelf space is so hard to come by and priorities often go to 805, then Mind Haze, and Cali Squeeze which are the next two largest brands. I want to see Pivo kill it out there as much as anyone, but the sales velocity needs to pull it into the market since we just cant push it like we do the bigger brands. Such are the downsides of larger distro networks!
