Stayed up late drinking, slept in late this morning…brunch coffee - “Black daylight” a BBA Vanilla Stout by Lumberbeard Brewing, Spokane, WA:



Canned Nov. 2022. Poured at 54°. Boozy 14%. Pleasant enough BBA impy stout. Not getting much vanilla. Working on notes for NBW.

Thermometer on balcony already reads 100°. I might get some groceries later…I might stay indoors and drink beer/play guitar. Cheers and have a super Sunday y’all!

Went for a nice hike at the Assabet River National Wildlife Refuge - @LarryV glad you and your daughter enjoyed the hike and got to see the bunkers!

Boat parade on the lake later this afternoon - such a fun old-timey tradition that I'm happy still exists. Here's last year's solar-powered Titanic replica being chased by an iceberg!

Thanks - I'm glad you told me about Assabet, pretty cool place. We were also fortunate enough to see a lot of Ghost Pipes which apparently is a rare sight. Even though they look like a fungus, they're actually a plant that lives off of a fungus.
