Never heard of Cuver, the only thing I'd add is Cooperage. I've grabbed their imperial stout from time to time and it's a solid, no frills, imperial. Moonlight might be worth stopping by, I've never actually made it to their spot but I always grab cans. But HenHouse and RR are definitely my main stops in the area.

I saw you mention never having had a wet hop.beer and there's a place called FogBelt that runs their own little hop yard. From what I hear they make all the hops into wet hop beers at harvest time. You might be right on time for that.
I'm gonna be heading out of town for a week or so tomorrow but I'll try to grab an extra for you if they still have them at the store.

Here is what I found. Maybe not the most reliable sources, interesting and plausible though.

I think Estonian and Finnish may be similar, so maybe @Todd can weigh in on “Toorkalao”. Or @beer_beer

Imperial stout aged in Knob Creek bourbon barrels for 232 days (very specific!). Brewed by Blindman Brewing in Lacombe, Alberta. The taste is super smooth. Maybe it's the 2 years of age, but this is super nicely integrated. Perfect balance of bourbon, vanilla, and roasted malts. Still some nice bitterness, but it doesn't overpower. Nothing does. Just mingles nicely. Blackberries, toffee, dark bread, and slight maple.

And now Trinity in Black from Pühaste Brewery. Imperial Stout with tonka beans, cocoa nibs, vanilla, cinnamon and lactose. Brewed in collaboration with AF Brew and Zagovor.

Pours black as night and has very little head. The nose is vanilla, cinnamon, roasted malts, and chocolate.

The taste is super smooth. Again, nice layers of vanilla and cinnamon. Nice malt presence. Toffee, maple, and a slight roasty note. Mouthfeel is super thick and creamy. Great stout.

Equilibrium Brewery Pistachio Dream Dessert imperial stout- a luxuriant and flavorful beer. Nice after hockey treat.

I raised my glass to my dear friend and hockey buddy who passed away this past Monday - the heart and soul of the local hockey community. To you Ed!

Enjoying a 2022 BCBCS with a 06SEP2024 Drink By date. This has been refrigerated since purchase. I am finding the coffee is subtlety integrated with the base beer and all comes out really tasty in the end with a little heat at the end of each sip. Nicely done.
    Cheers!

Grabbed this from the brewery in Salt Lake City today. Now drinking it at my hotel in southern Utah. Blueberry Pancakes from Templin Family Brewing. 12% ABV.

From the brewery: Imperial pastry stout aged for 13 months in HighWest Bourbon barrels. Blueberry puree, blueberry syrup, and organic maple syrup are blended together in this breakfast of champions.

From me: Brown head disappears within seconds. The nose is fantastic. Blueberries, maple syrup, vanilla, marshmallows, rich chocolate, malts, graham crackers, and a hint of coffee.

The taste is super smooth and delicious. Tons of fresh blueberries, maple, chocolate, brown sugar, almonds, some bourbon, and almost a red wine note.

The mouthfeel is thick and creamy. Sweet aftertaste. Overall, this is sweet (pastry stout), but it's not too sweet. Tastes "real". Cheers!

Looks like a great list. Drew Curtis is a very funny guy. I spent a night drinking with he and others at a Linux/Open Source event that was very fun. Haven’t been on the Fark site for a long time…
