Out and about today. Went to Hallgrimskarkja, then the National Museum of Iceland, It's a very walkable city. Einstock Arctic Pale Ale for lunch.

Howdy folks! Thanks @RaulMondesi for 3981. It's a gorgeous day here for pert near anything. Gotta get my drums in order for tomorrow's show with Pachanga which BTW @Victory_Sabre1973 is 3-5 pm at Lake George. Beer I say! Starting with a tin of Illuminated Brew Works Weird Science Black IPA. I need it after almost getting double-booked 100 miles apart on the same night. Sheesh! I like the work rollin' in but whoa. Cheers! MMmmmm beer.

 

A few days ago my wife and I walked down to a Thai restaurant in our neighborhood for dinner. On our way home I stopped in at a local bottle shop next door to the restaurant. Perusing the coolers, I did a double-take when I saw some Russian River bottles. RR stopped distribution in Washington State several years ago, and I wasn’t aware that they’d returned earlier this year. I promptly grabbed one each of everything available. Pliny was also on tap but I wasn’t able to have a pint at the time.

This one is pretty special, never had it before. I might be kind of obsessed with this simple, elegant pale ale. Cheers!

Really a good American style Oktoberfest IMO.

 

Zombie dust was on clearance for some reason at Wal Mart for 9.99 for a six pack. Needless to say that’s what I’m drinking now
