I'm still waiting to have a great cream ale.

    I'm not sure they exist.

Is a cream ale an ale or a lager?

also, I thought beer for ball games is pretty good for a summertime lounge around beer.

I just saw some “Jenny Cream” at a Binnys. when did genessee come to Illinois? I totally missed that debut.

    It’s a beer platypus.

Not sure when it debuted in IL but it’s been out for at least 3 months and only at select Binnys.

I really like most of Off Color’s offerings. Beer for Bowling was fantastic and scratched the itch for a good local English ale.

However I’ve been disappointed that they seem to have abandoned 15 feet and don’t seem to have any plans for bringing it back. I’d like to see it returned to production sometime, maybe fitting it into their new brand strategy - Beer for BBQs?

Came across these recent labels for OC. Looking at their listed beers in BA, would this be their first barleywine they've released?

I mean Bear for Kings was a wheat wine, but I cant remember anything before that.

I am so in on both of these.

Oh hell yeah. Also, feels like barleywine is a great move for a brewery that refuses to do IPAs; you keep doing your thing, but give the hop heads an outlet for their hop lust.

The label says English style. Which is perfectly fine with me, but I wouldn’t expect any significant hop character in these.

As soon as I posted I was like "damnit, someone is gonna tell me English bws aren't hoppy" lol

I mainly meant more of that dark, sweet thing they have going on, than aggressive hop character. With all that said, I'm obviously more curious about the BA version, because they've been doing some fun stuff with Dino S'mores, so I'm curious what a BABW will look like.
