Good morning and have a good week everyone,
even though the summer holidays are over and we are back in full working rhythm, the memory of the beers drunk in the middle of nature until a couple of weeks ago is still very vivid...
Here on the beach in Baia Santa Reparata, around 7.30pm, in full aperitif time:

To Øl (Svinnige, DAN) - HOUSE OF PALE - Pale Ale (5.5%)

33 cl can (bought from Eataly, I got the last two cans on the shelf), long shelf life so I thought of a fresh product.
It is a (New England) Pale Ale with Equanot hops, already drunk several times (even on tap).
Poured to the nose it releases aromas of tropical fruit (mango, pineapple) and citrus fruits.
Deep golden color, quite opaque ("hazy").
Adequate foam: quite abundant but light in consistency, it still remains on top of the beer.
In the mouth, a medium-bodied beer which is characterized by a citrus taste, with reflections of tropical fruit.
On the dry and slightly bitter finish, more herbaceous notes emerge.
Nothing to say, beer that slides down very simply without being watery in the slightest, but leaving a very pleasant and thirst-quenching taste, finding a good balance between structure, fruity taste and dry finish and leaving a light (but very pleasant) bitter note.
A more lively carbonation would have been beneficial, but the fragrance of the taste transmits a sensation of freshness.

    Bongiorno, Italian advocate!

I’ve been eying Italy for some years too, as we’re talking vacations and holidays which are as far as I’m concerned behind me for the year. No complaints. Ready for fall and the joy of joint pain and humidity.

Drinking a different Chimay than usual, their strong blonde one. 10%. It’s something! That’ll be one and done, but digging it a lot.

I did this one late yesterday evening… so-so. Just a random sketch, done (maybe) too quickly.

Cheater post alert. This is my west coast IPA at Billsburg Brewery over Jamestown way yesterday evening. The wife and I are in
Norfolk visiting our youngest son and his family. He took us over there as it’s one of his favorite places to go to get a country vibe at a tap house. Good food truck, good beer and a bald eagle to watch!

    Saranac Honey Pils

unfortunately for any light style honey beer, my brain automatically goes to Perla Miodowa from Poland. Which nothing could compare to for me. But I like this. No complaints. Not much honey going on but I can see that it’s there.

After enjoying some leftover baked mostaccioli and irritating the Mrs. maybe a tad too much, I decided to retreat to the deck for a Founders Oktoberfest. Cheers!

Hello BAs! Thanks @Jack_14 for 3985. Another pleasant day here with some chores. Chop the lawn is 3rd on the list, have a beer is 2nd and is what I'm currently wrapped up in, and first was go for a run, which I did. So far so good. I saw a FB post this morning that my buddy Mike has sold his brewery, Badger Hill. Wow. That's big. <> Yesterday I got a surprise visit from my band mate Citizen Bob at about 4pm so we shared a few brews, laffs, and figured some shit out. Here's Modist x Wallride Gravity Still Totally Sucks Sesh IPA. Cheers!
