    Since the cron job times were adjusted, I was able to monitor performance real-time this morning (EEST). I did notice some 504 (server gateway timeout) errors from Cloudflare when the first cron ran at 4 AM UTC, but it didn't last too long and all other crons ran without any noticeable impact.

    I tracked the issue to a horribly inefficient database query (not coded be me!) and applied some tweaks, which should eliminate the issue, but I'll continue to monitor this week.

    I mostly rate and review here. Always have. Used to Trade heavily 2006-2009. Can't say I noticed any issues recently with reviews at least.

    Looks like my updates helped. No issues logged or reported within the last two days. Let's hope the trend continues...

    Could the recent issues with the site have caused a loss of reviews in the database outside of the posting period? I noticed last night that a dozen or so of my Place reviews are missing from 4-5 years ago. I think I have them saved from that time period and will check things out later today for more details.

    No. Recent database issues (too many connections) didn't cause random data from years ago to be lost.

    Update: Looks like all of the tweaking worked. It's been a week with zero database and related issues, but I'll continue to monitor and continue to optimize where I can.
