I tried 4 different ways to upload the photos, nothing worked out for me :/ Thanks @steveh

So after nearly 20years (2005 was my last visit) I visited Fiege again with a little bit more knowledge about beers and brewing techniques. Really fascinating and a lot of history.
You could tap your own Zwickel from a large tank (77.000L) and drink whatever you want at the end of the tour.
It was also the first time I had Fiege Helles and Schwarzbier on tap.

    Prost!

I picked up the Fiege Pils at Störtebeker a couple years ago and didn't expect much.I only knew them as the Beer Sponsor of VFL Bochum, so i expected another soulless industrial Pils a la Holsten,Warsteiner,Berliner Kindl etc etc.

I ended up positively surprised. It was one of my favourite Pilseners i tried up to that point.Pretty hoppy with a nice Malt Base.I really wanted to try their lineup.Unfortunately they don't seem to distribute outside of the state of Nordrhein-Westfalen, so i'm cut-off from consumption.

You'll rather find it in the north of Germany. My uncle in Hannover and my cousin in Braunschweig can buy Fiege Pils and Helles locally.
