At least it looks like the cans are printed the right way. When they printed the cans upside down it was irritating. Don't know why they thought that was a good idea.

Looking forward to Xocoveza. I haven't had it in years.

I'm not aware if there being a mixed 12-pack or anything like that in this lineup. The other three beers were already released and available in 6-packs.I think Xocoveza will be the same way.

I'm in for a single, or maybe a multi-pack if it's not too outrageously priced. I still have some from the last release, so I won't be too bent out of shape if we don't get it here.

Apropos of nothing, I always wanted to make a Thunderstruck Black & Tan with Stone Thunderstruck and Highland Thunderstruck Coffee Porter. What could possibly go wrong?

That, my friend, is a shame. I'd have been all in on this.

Sadly, Highland retired Thunderstruck. Last year was the final year. Unless you have some on hand then this will remain but a dream (or maybe a nightmare, idk. it could be kinda gross)

Fingers crossed that I’m able to find this in SEPA!

I’m late to the party but in my defense so was Xocoveza. Available in 4-packs (I think they were 4-packs — just saw it today) in PA.

Correction — it was 6-packs. Also saw singles today (a different spot) and while I didn’t have my glasses with me I am pretty sure the single I saw was packaged in July 2023. Looks like lots of people like to cellar this so probably that doesn’t matter.

For those that can get it, Cape May Mexican Coffee Stout is cheaper and on the same level IMO.

I’ve been a fan of Xocoveza for years. I was excited to find it on tap at a local place last week. But alas. It just didn’t have the punch I remember. Rather bland. It was served too cold but even after I let it warm, it never developed.

I had the same experience. I grabbed a single a few weeks ago and It doesn't match up with my memory at all. I remember it being a lot more robust and more heat to it but it was just kinda lacking in flavor in general. I don't plan to go back for another. Oh well.

I saw it at Giant 10 days ago for $17.99. I did not buy any.

    Enjoy

I have to agree! Definitely more pronounced coffee notes!

Found some by me, never tried it before so I pulled the trigger. Around the same price tag, slightly cheaper (cents)
I am kinda underwhelmed from my first tasting, but i'm going to experiment a little with temperature to see what tasting notes are more pronounced at different temperatures. All those spices seem to be creating a cacophony overpowering the chocolate and the mouthfeel is much thinner than I expected. Overall for a first tasting, I would not say it is bad. But if it is the same as it was before then it may be overhyped.
