    I still typically pick porters or stouts to enjoy, and save my pale ales and IPAs for food pairings or after a few hours of being awake. The darker beers help guide me to sleep, as will this ambient music.

    De nada, Founders Porter is great! Speaking of, I also remember drinking Sierra Nevada porter back in the day and it was quite good too. Each of these classic American craft breweries have tried and successfully so the Porter style.

    look: 3.75 | smell: 4.25 | taste: 4.5 | feel: 4.25 | overall: 4.25

    Pours a delicate pale yellow color, crystal clear until the end of the pour and then some light yeast sediment; good carbonation yet no head. Wonderful nose of nectarine, raw white oak, a touch of brettanomyces wildness. Extraordinary taste blend of sweet and tangy nectarine and other citrus fruits, over-ripe peach; a trace of doughy yeast in the background; lemony; delicately sweet white wine. Medium mouthfeel; smooth tartness; gently mouth puckering.

    A very fine, very approachable barrel-aged wild ale.

    Decent lightly flavored IPA - better (to my taste) than the base beer. Wet hopped and possibly from this season, but since East End can't be bothered dating their cans... Rating 3.27, rDev -18%

    Batch #939.1

    Moderate to vigorous pour yields a 3/4 white head over a murky light golden body with sticky lacing.

    Nose of citrus including orange and lime right out of the gate.

    Taste is grapefruit pith, orange, and lime with sweeter citrus as it warms.

    Feel is lacking a bit, with light body and low to medium carbonation.

    Overall, not too bad and wouldn't turn down another (while off the wagon!)
