i’m very into this. hard for me to call it beer at this point although i guess if the majority of the liquid is beer then it’s beer and idk what else you’d call it. their barleywines can give off such nice port-like flavors anyway that this makes a lot of sense to me for port to make it into a blend. i’m all for it.

 

Deca tastes like beer up front and finishes like port and I loved it

We were about 30 people back when it sold out.

Very glad we got a bottle at Pizza Champ, however.

They put Deca back out, and sold out of that just after we bought bottles.

 

Honestly a little pissed I wasted my time, and knowing it may be a similar case for every other release this weekend, it takes the wind out of my sails about spending hours of my time waiting in line. They need to do a better job informing people.

 

What do you want them to do? List a bottle count? That will just drive flippers to be more ridiculous.

 

They walk through the line to do a count. Heads up would be nice.

Tired of the apologists here. This really isn’t complicated.

 

Multiple people told me that they were told “You’re not getting a bottle, get out of line”. I think they just don’t like you.

I’m just butthurt about it.. annoying, but I signed up for it. No sense in hoping for a more thoughtful, customer centric approach as it hasn’t ever been the norm and never will be until the masses demand it.. and that doesn’t seem to be in the cards.

 

I respect the togo bottle grind as I used to be all about it, but these events are so much more enjoyable if you just go to drink and not spend hours in line.

 

Can confirm. Missed the terminus release last year and just enjoyed the exclusive draft pours. No regrets.

They’ve typically done a VERY good job of letting people know when there isn’t enough to make it, so I was very surprised when I heard it sold out well before “expectations.” Big time bummer. Definitely a good reason to be disappointed and it sounds like that’s a big group who missed out.

 

We’re all not addressing the hardest hitting question: what happened to the back fence at SP?
