It’s probably for the vintage sale

Which would be total crap if that's the case. There are two lines for a reason--pick one.

    Are you replying to me?

Is there a separate line for that? If so, if not, how do the line of chairs relate to the line of people standing outside them? Are those people not there yet?

I would imagine that the people who put those chairs there are in the derivation line.

    I’m not there.

Judging based off of yesterday, I think that's exactly what it is. People in the Derivation line set up chairs in a second line for the vintage sale. I think @Heisenbrew nailed it.

Thanks. I didn’t know there was a two line setup.

Well it would have been less of a deal yesterday since the 10 year releases were at 1pm, and the vintage was 4pm. With it being 3pm and 4pm today, I bet (and again, I'm not there either so anything is possible) this is the case.

Does anyone know what was sold during the vintage sales?

So, just to be clear, there is no difference between any of the 10yr beers and the other iterations that previously didn’t have this modifier, right? Like the BdF etc.?

If anyone has an extra rye and continuance from this weekend, I have an extra 10yr barleywine and derivation

The two-day hangover in this thread is telling. What an exhausting weekend--and I only did two of the days.

Enjoying a Langst b3 on tap at the cellar. That's about the only thing I was missing from a coma-inducing few days at the brewery.

Was wondering if any of the 10 year barleywine was going to pop up online this week, but it’s not seeming so.

One of my best friends is in town from NYC for the first time in over a year so I figured I’d bring out some of the big stuff for tonight. Been looking for an excuse to pop open OWK.

Completely co-sign this mentality when drinking things from my cellar. When good friends come over, we’re drinking whatever they want unless a bottle is already earmarked for sharing with someone else. Life is too short and beer rarely gets better with age.

Finally grabbed a pour of the 10-year Barleywine at the Brewery. Gotta say it is a fantastic beer, but the detached-from-reality trading market surrounding it is more puzzling now than before I tried it.
