Been looking at this site for a long time, and I finally joined it.
I’m kind of a rookie when it comes to beer.
I tend to enjoy the cheap American lager beers during the hot summer months, but now that fall is here, I am checking out many different craft, beers, and enjoy the taste this time of year.
I recommend beer advocate for its ratings and enjoy the comments from fellow advocates.

Welcome to formally joining @Arcman61 .

I also typically get a 12 or 24 pack of regular lagers, Moosehead or Budweiser, to enjoy in the Summer. Picked the $1.01 Budweiser case for the "We Screwed Up" Rebate Memorial Day weekend and still have to work through several. Fall is my second favorite season, also like the beers at this time and pending Stout season.

What are your favorite local or regional breweries? I typically have Revolution and Spiteful brewery on hand, like Tighthead and a few other suburban breweries as well.

Looking forward to seeing you on the boards, including our Great Lakes folder and perhaps the New Beer Weekend or What Beer Are You Drinking Now threads in the Beer Talk folder.

    Cheers!

It sounds like you've gotten a good start by using this site to expand your beer horizon. If you haven't found it yet, the Beer Styles page (under BEERS on the main menu) is a good place to keep your efforts organized. Don't judge a style based on one beer because different brewers can have different takes for the same beer style. This is especially true for IPAs and DIPAs because the numerous varieties of hops can have a wide flavor range.

Welcome to membership, and enjoy you time on the site.
